It’s a suitable glaze for interior or exterior use, and it’s the first water-based product that faithfully reproduces the beauty of traditional oil finishes.

Colour it with Polyvine’s Universal Acrylic Colourant for stunning decorative paint effects. Colouring Patino/Scumble/Clear Acrylic Glaze with an acrylic paint clearly reduces the working time !
APPLICATION
Ensure that Patino/Scumble/Clear Acrylic Glaze is well mixed.
Select base coat colour
Apply base coat and allow to dry for a minimum of 24 hours with ventilation.
For maximum open time seal with Polyvine Decorators Varnish.
Colour your Patino/Scumble/Clear Acrylic Glaze with Polyvine Universal Acrylic Colourant, mixing thoroughly.
Brush or roller the coloured Patino/Scumble/Clear Acrylic Glaze liberally over the base coat.
Create the desired decorative effect by breaking the surface with a crumpled rag, bag, sponge or brush.
PLEASE NOTE:
Working time is the time that the glaze remains wet and able to create a pattern.
To obtain the maximum working time – up to an hour – apply Patino/Scumble/Clear Acrylic Glaze liberally in cool conditions ( Temperatures under 21°C) on a completely non-porous base coat.
Protect from extremes of temperature during storage and application.
The thickness of Patino/Scumble/Clear Acrylic Glaze, temperature and humidity affect the working time.
Low temperature or high humidity increases drying time.
Air movement is essential for faster drying.
Coverage/thickness of Patino/Scumble/Clear Acrylic Glaze will affect drying time.
Do not apply Patino/Scumble/Clear Acrylic Glaze to oil paint that has not fully hardened.
COVERAGE: 15 to 20 m²per litre when mixed with colourant
DRYING TIME : Base Coat : 24 Hours Scumble(Clear Glaze) coat : 24 Hours
RECOAT TIME : 1 to 5 days
