Protect your furniture and other interior wooden surfaces with Polyvine’s Wax Finish Varnish, combining the silky feel of wax with the durability of a varnish. Reminiscent of the traditional feel of lovingly preserved furniture, it retains the natural appearance of the wood.

- Wax Finish Varnish - CLEAR - Dead Flat for a completely shine-free surface
- Wax Finish Varnish - COLOURED - Dead Flat to transform wood with subtle, even shades.

Our Polyvine COLOURED Wax Finish Varnishes have a Dead Flat finish, this is a completely non reflective finish. For depth and a soft sheen, apply Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish – CLEAR - Satin over Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish - COLOURED - Dead Flat

INSTRUCTIONS for USE:

- All surfaces must be clean and free from dust, dirt, oil and contamination.

- Ensure the product is well mixed but DO NOT SHAKE!

- Apply sparingly, brush out well using a good quality brush.

- Ideal for new wood, Paintwork, Furniture, Staircases, kitchen cabinets,, wood & MDF, doors, fire surrounds,…

- Apply the first coat and allow to dry. Apply a second coat. On new wood and porous surfaces dilute the first coat 10% with water.

- Lightly sand the wood in between applications to remove any raising of the grain that may have occurred.

- For a high level of durability and stain resistance, apply 2 coats of Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish CLEAR satin and one coat of Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish CLEAR dead flat.

- Can be applied with a brush, cloth or sponge.

- Always apply to a test area before starting work. Appearance may vary according to the colour and type of wood and the number of coats.

- Can be used to patinate and protect acrylic and lime paint.
Do NOT apply over uncured OIL PAINTS !

COLOURED Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish
INSTRUCTIONS for USE:
-First apply 1 coat of the desired coloured Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish.
Allow each coat to dry completely according to package instructions.
If you are happy with the colour after one coat, add 2 more coats of the Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish CLEAR ( =no colour) )( satin or dead Flat according to your own preference.)

-If you want to achieve a darker shade, first apply 2 coats of the coloured Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish and finish with 1 coat of Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish CLEAR ( =no colour)( satin or dead Flat according to your own preference.)

If you choose to apply 3 coats of the same color, a coat of Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish CLEAR ( =no colour) is not necessary. But You may apply another coat of Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish – CLEAR - Satin to create depth and a soft sheen.

Approx. 15-20 m2 per liter

DRYING TIME

15mins to 1hr, depending on temperature

RECOAT TIME

2hrs to 4hrs

CURING

Protect the finish from water and steam for 5 Days after application

CLEANING

Clean tools/equipment with warm soapy water, rinse well with clean water, allow to dry naturally.

STORAGE

Protect from extremes of temperature during storage and application.
